Looking for an interview , here on UA-cam, with Chester Thompson and this came up . I swear , Chester Thompson is such an amazing musician, it blows my mind the chemistry he had with Carlos - the subliminal synchronicity they had - just totally Supernatural (pun intended!) . He was the perfect foil for Carlos , the way he embellished the melodies and rhythms. Never get tired of hearing these songs

Chester is the effin man. Couple moments there was the absolute. He was holding back.

There were / are few Hammond players in Chester's class - Dr Lonnie Smith, Jimmy Smith, Bill Mason, Jimmy McGriff and from the relatively modern era Joey de Francisco, Cory Henry and Barbara Dennerlein - no doubt I've missed a few but this is an elite club few can ever hope to join. Pure brilliance.
